Tip #2: Product Testing
If you have a product or service you sell that can be demonstrated, a trade show is the time to do just that. Allow your product to be held and tested and you’ll walk away with a significant increase in sales. While this is ideal for product-based businesses, service-based businesses can benefit as well. Consider setting up a computer so that clients can view your digital portfolio or allow for a “do it yourself” option to get them started. Once your potential client begins the process, they’ll want you to hire you to finish the job.
Tip #3: Interactive Display
Want to attract visitors of all ages to your booth? Why not have a prize wheel or a basketball and hoop. Not only will it provide entertainment for the whole family, but it’ll increase the likelihood your potential customer will stay in your booth long enough to hear what you do and how your service or product will benefit them. You might also think about adding a flag that advertises where the water is! While your potential clients appreciate the refreshment, you can chat about your product or service. (Just remember – no one likes an annoying salesperson!)
